Yes! We have bike rentals available for 3 hours or 24 hours. We do not have e-bikes, only regular bikes.
Biking in Amsterdam is one of the best ways to experience the city!

There is public paid parking available in front of the hotel and on the side streets. Public parking rates can be found here, and you may pay at the parking meter outside the hotel upon your arrival.
We also have private paid parking available behind the hotel, however there are only two parking spots so please send us an email to inquire about availability if you’d like to reserve a parking spot. Our email is: stay@ihotel.nl

Check-in begins at 2:00pm. If you will be arriving after 10pm please send us an email to let us know your estimated arrival time.
Check out is by 11:00am. We also offer a late check out option for an additional fee.

Yes. Breakfast is available for an early bird price of 12 euros per person if you inform us the day prior, or 14 euros per person if you let us know in the morning that you will be having breakfast with us.
Breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, cereals, toast, cheese/meats, and morning beverages (coffee, tea, espresso, latte, juice, etc).

A’DAM Lookout: A'DAM LOOKOUT is an observation deck with a panoramic view of Amsterdam and Europe's highest swing. (15 minute walk from i hotel).
Canal Cruise: Amsterdam has many different canal cruises, from a beer&pizza cruise, to a wine and cheese cruise, to daytime cruises, and many more.
Visit a museum: With over 6 museums, Amsterdam has the highest museum density in the world. Check out some world class museums such as Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, The Upside Down Museum, Anne Frank House, MOCO Museum, or Eye Film Museum.
Taste Dutch Jenever: Jenever also known as Dutch gin is the juniper-flavoured traditional liquor in the Netherlands. Try some at the House of Bols Cocktail Museum, or at Dutch Courage Cocktail Bar.
Taste Dutch Food: A must-try while visiting the Netherlands is the world famous cheese! Check out a cheese tasting to try various types of Dutch cheese. You should also try bitterballen, Dutch fries, & Dutch Pancakes. Pro tip: Take a food tour to try all the local food and learn about the history of the foods you are eating.
Visit Oude Kerk: Amsterdam’s oldest building Oude Kerk was first consecrated around 1305.
Rent a bike: Live like the locals do! Traveling by bike is one of the best ways to experience the city. You can rent bikes at i hotel too!
Visit Zaanse Schans: The Netherlands are famous for windmills - to see the classic historical - and still functioning! - windmills, take a 40 minute bus ride to Zaanse Schans.
Check out NDSM: NDSM is one of the most unique areas in the city. A neighborhood in Amsterdam Noord (near to i hotel), it’s an arts community with a lot of interesting features like an abandoned submarine, rusting trams, cafes made from greenhouses, and the world’s largest street art/graffiti museum.

Most of our rooms come equipped with a window. These windows are either sunroof windows, which can not be opened, or regular windows which can only be opened partially.
Our “double without window” rooms are not equipped with windows, though they are ventilated.

How to get to the free ferry:
From the hotel: Turn left as you leave the hotel and walk along the street for 10 minutes until you reach the IJplein Ferry to central station.
How to get to the metro:
From the hotel: Turn right as you leave the hotel, walk about 20m to the intersection with the roundabout and turn left. Continue walking for about 3 minutes and you will see the Noorderpark metro station on your left side.
